Lens Culture recently announced the results of their Emerging Talent Awards. 20 photographers were selected from a global pool of entrants and there will be an exhibition of the winning work displayed in Gallerie Joseph between November 7th and 10th.  The location is Paris 4 - 6 rue de Braque, 75003 Paris

Given that it is Paris Photo Week i wondered if there was anyone likely to be visiting and if so it would be nice to make your acquaintance at the gallery. I know it's a little big headed of me to flag this (but really I am quite excited), but I was one of the selected photographers and the images that will be shown are all shot on my 007. it's quite nice to think that at the age of 47 you can be considered as emerging from anything other than a deep slumber. There is hope for us yet.

The two images they are likely to print (they've asked me to send full res files as they want to print them 1.3m tall!) are the following, taken from the project 'Here Among the Flowers'. Link is on my website, which I think is in my signature, if you're interested.

Greg,  Congratulations!  I am certain there will be many more awards in coming years with you superb photographs.  Stay focused, you are IMO a real Visionary Impressionist.  r/ Mark

No, not bigheaded at all. I'd love to see these two wonderful portraits as large  prints, and shall come by and hope to meet you. I'm in Paris now and will be there through 11 November, as my photobook, Frog Leaping, will be introduced at Offprint Paris 2019, held at the École des Beaux-Arts concurrently with Paris Photo. There might also be a book signing at Polycopies, a photobook fair on a boat moored on the Seine. There is a link for the for flip-through video at the bottom of this post in the thread Photobook Publishing and its Discontents
