Steve Ricoh Posted October 12, 2019 Share #23 Posted October 12, 2019 I use the M240. Unfortunately struggled with the enlarger lenses I've tried, but the results are quite acceptable with more or less any Leica 50 mm lens (I use the 50 f1.4 asph). tommonego@gmail.com Posted October 16, 2019 Share #24 Posted October 16, 2019 I have been using an Epson 700 to do my old negative scans, the results are very good. I may try out a Bessler slide duplicator I have, has a Schneider Componon 60 f4 which was made for slide duplication, try my CL on it have both Canon FD and Nikon adaptors for the duplicator and for the CL. Did my first 2 rolls, one outdated color and the other new color. Used Dwaynes Photo for processing. After this I am regretting selling my old F2s, both needed a shutter job and recovering, hadn't found YYE yet. The M3 I inherited is working well after he went over it. YYE prices were half of what the last guy I used.
oronet commander Posted October 17, 2019 Share #25 Posted October 17, 2019 (edited) Get a cheap, second-hand FF Nikon, a 60 Micro-Nikkor lens and the Nikon ES2 adapter. Live view is very convenient for the most perfect focus. The results are amazingly good, enough to make me think about going back to film for BW.
