Advertisement Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Hi BXL Gotham, Take a look here Q2 locked up on me twice today, and slow read speeds. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
iRandom Posted September 11, 2019 Share #2 Posted September 11, 2019 I had that happen multiple times with one particular Lexar UHS-II card. I don't have a problem with my other card of the same type. I don't have the card with me at the moment so unfortunately I can't provide the details. ralphh Posted September 11, 2019 Share #3 Posted September 11, 2019 (edited) I found the Q2 near unusable with a 1000x (100MB/s) Lexar card. IT's great with one of these (Sony UHS-II 300MB/s): https://amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06ZY3KSWG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Edited September 11, 2019 by ralphh
Leica Guy Posted September 11, 2019 Share #4 Posted September 11, 2019 The only problem I’ve ever had with a Q or Q2 locking up involved an off-brand SD Card. I now exclusively use Sandisk cards. Extreme Pro UHS-II 300 Mb/sec. for the Q2.

nicci78 Posted September 16, 2019 Share #6 Posted September 16, 2019 (edited) No problem with Lexar SDXC UHS-II V60 card. Look for V90 or V60 at least. UHS-II is not enough to grant fast write speed. SD card norms are a mess. But Leica has dedicated a team for SD card issues. Just email them the issue, the make of SD card and they can fix it in next firmware update. evenise Posted September 17, 2019 Share #7 Posted September 17, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just tested it with a Lexar 1000x 128gb 150mb/s UHS-II and it's all fine, no problems at all in the highest burst mode or to play the pictures.
