Q build differences between early and later models?

Are there any differences between the Q cameras of earlier generations versions later ones? Did Leica improve anything noteworthy?

except for the firmwares I don't think so. My Q is 2018 4th quarter and even the date in it was the original production start date.

I haven't heard of anything official, But I did handle two different Q's. One was when it first came out and then one was two years later. The newer one had less hot pixels in the shadows and the banding wasn't as pronounced.

The Q-P has a matte black finish and a redesigned power switch and shutter button assembly. The Q-P’s switch is 50% taller (3mm on the Q versus 4.5mm on the Q-P) and 10% wider (17.3mm versus 15.7mm). Leica script on the top of the body.

There was a rumor that they improved somehow on the sensor dust issue. Not a sealing but some minor improvement. If I remember correctly even old Qs send in for sensor cleaning profit from this improvement. I cannot find it but must be in one of the earlier sensor dust threads...

Any hint on this is welcome...

Banding was addressed in a firmware update.
