pebetz Posted August 1, 2007 Share #1  Posted August 1, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Anyone interested in Macro photage? I'm new to it but thought I might share my setup for the Digilux 3. I use a Macro Elmarit R60/2,8 together with the Macro Adapter, 2x Extender and a (non Leica) 4/3 lens adapter and the initial test results are better than I expected. I get a 2:1 (thats 4:1 in 35 mm language) with this combo. The whole setup costed me around 470 euro second hand, I think that is OK. And the adapters and extender I can of cause also use with other lenses. For example, the Elmarit 135/2,8 gives a good repro scale with the Macro adapter but at a distance that does not scare away the subject.  The Macro Elmarit 60/2,8 also turned out to be a very good lense simply used as a 120 mm on the D3. Great colors.  I posted some shots with the 60/2,8 at http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/other/30443-digilux-3-old-macro-elmarit-r.html  Thankful for tips, comments and input
