Q2 AF fails when flash trigger is mounted

Got my brand new Q2 just this Monday, and ran into the following problem:

When no flash trigger is mounted, my Q2's AF works perfectly. But once any sort of trigger is mounted (e.g. Godox, Phottix, Profoto), the AF would only flicker green for a brief second before failing to lock on and stay green, and the camera would also randomly recompose before the shutter release is pressed. In the end not a single AF Mode would work when a flash trigger was mounted, and I had to resort to MF to take the picture. As soon as the trigger is turned off or removed from the hot-shoe, everything returns to normal and AF works fine. 

Has this been anyone's experience too and is there a fix? If not, where can I report this severe bug? I want to find out whether this is a commonly known problem or a one-off error with my Q2 specifically.

Make sure the flash is seated all the way in.  If i back mine out slightly it acts exactly as you describe otherwise normal.  I am using a flashpoint zoom mini (for fuji) (tt350 godox).  There is a very slight click when seated all the way.

Is your flash definitely Lieca compatible? Ie not Nikon or Canon

I have used the same triggers successfully on SL, M10 and M Monochrom (Typ 246), and only the Q2 have been affected so far. I have re-inserted the same triggers into the hot-shoes of all four cameras, they all seem to be designed and built to the same specifications, so the triggers are seated in at the exact depth for each and every camera, and still only the Q2 has its operation (AF) disrupted.

Although I am not using Leica-branded flash, I am only using the central point of the trigger to manually trigger flash, no TTL or HSS or any other fancy stuff. The triggers I use are compatible this way with my SL, M10 and M Monochrom (Typ 246), but only has a problem with the Q2.

Does it only have a center point? If it has more how are you confirming that the q2 is not trying to use them? Just cause you don't want it to try is not the same thing. I have no issues at all using my Q2 with a flash trigger than only has a central pin. 

I'd suggest taping them off or similar to see of that makes a difference 

You might also want to try turning off the AF assist lamp in the Q2 settings in case the Q2 is trying to ask the flash if it has one.
