omar.gurnah Posted August 23, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 23, 2019 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi There, I've not used a Rangefinder for a few years (Q2 owner, and previously M3, M9 and M240 before jumping to Fuji) and am considering a switch to the M10 as my only camera. Its a very big investment for me so I'd like to give it a test run before making the leap, but I can't find anywhere to rent one in the UK. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! Advertisement Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Hi omar.gurnah, Take a look here Anywhere to rent an M10 in the UK?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Peter Kilmister Posted August 23, 2019 Share #2 Posted August 23, 2019 Ask your nearest Leica dealer. They usually have a demonstration model that you can use for a few hours provided you have left your credit card, driving licence, or both. Make sure you try the M10 and M10-P. Depending on where you are in the UK and provided you hand over your passport, driving licence and buy me a pint, I would be happy to let you try my M10-P with your own lens or a £25 rental of a lens I don't use any longer. Just bring your own SD card. I am in rural Sussex.
omar.gurnah Posted August 25, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted August 25, 2019 (edited) Thanks so much Peter, that’s very kind of you! A couple of people have told me that Leica stores can offer this service, so I’ll think I’ll pop in this week. Thanks all! Peter Kilmister Posted August 25, 2019 Share #4 Posted August 25, 2019 Good hunting with the M10s. If there is a small price difference then go fo the M10-P. It will always have a much better resale price than the M10 and it is a much quieter camera.
