I used to have the CV 35/1.2 v.1 and sold it.  Have been thinking of replacing it with a copy of the v.2 for a while.

Seeing these images is making me think once again about getting the v.2 lens.

I have read that the CV 35/1.2 v.2 is an improvement over the v.1 and that it is excellent in terms of image quality, perhaps close to the 35/2.4 Summarit but with more pronounced bokeh.

Yes, think twice. I am a big fan of fast and wide open lenses. The Noctilux is on my shopping list - at some time in the future^_^.  The Voigtlander 35/1.2 is quite big and heavy but it is OK compared to my old Canon lenses. For nice shots man must suffer.

See another shot at f1.2

The Cosina-Voigtlander 35mm/1.2 seems to be a almost forgotten lens but the results are very promising.

Just returned from Mecklenburg, and if I am not wrong this pic was shot in the Museumshafen of Greifswald?

Yes, a very nice playground for my Leica

This year, I did not have the 35mm Nokton with me, but the new 50mm/1.2 Nokton. Curious to see how it performed against the 35mm. This pic above was shot with the 50mm Nokton. Not a very good pic, just to complement your nice pictures posted at the beginning of your thread.

I am perfectly willing to carry my 50/1.0 Noctilux, so I doubt that the CV 35/1.2 will do me in.  As you observe, "...For nice shots man must suffer."

Even when hauling multiple M lenses, my M kit induces way less suffering than my former Hasselblad V system kit did.
