andrewjoo7 Posted July 29, 2019 Share #1  Posted July 29, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Been using the tl2 for about a week now and I love it.  Im wondering if anyone can give any tips on using the shutter button to focus and then take a picture.  For example, every time i am trying to focus on a subject by holding on the shutter button to the 1st point, as I hold it there I it seems that the lens is keep moving around to focus so my question is:  1.  do you guys let go of the shutter button once the subject is focused and then in order to take the photo, do you re press the shutter button? I tried this method and seems to re focus the subject which follows by taking a blurry photo. 1> by trying this method I feel as if the subject becomes refocused so its not a good way to take the photo.  2. once you guys have the subject in focus by holding down on the shutter button to the 1st point, do you quickly hold down again to the 2nd point without let going of the shutter button to take the photo? 2> by trying this method I feel as if the lens is keep auto focusing every split second before I take the photo.  For example if I hold down the shutter button to the first point and the subject is in focus, as I keep the pressure on the 1st point, it seems as if the focus changes every split second even if the subject is not moving which is very annoying.   What do you feel are the best practices ?
