marknorton Posted July 30, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 30, 2007 The issue with IR contamination on larger format cameras is that the IR image focusses at a different point and can cause an out of focus haze in the image. With the D1, the focal length is much shorter than in an M and the depth of field correspondingly greater, so I would expect it to be less of an issue.
