vikasmg Posted July 11, 2019 Share #1 Posted July 11, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've just bought a Pacific Image PrimeFilm XAs film and slide scanner, which I believe is the same thing as a Reflecta RPS 10M. I intend to use Vuescan with it and I wonder if the Vuescan driver for Reflecta RPS 10M will work with the Pacific Image version. Vuescan lists the Reflecta RPS 10M but not the Pacific Image PrimeFilm XAs. Does anyone have an experience with Vuescan and this scanner? Also (a little late to ask, the scanner gets delivered next week) have I made a reasonable choice with this scanner? I will be mainly scanning 35mm film and slides. Guest Posted July 12, 2019 Share #2 Posted July 12, 2019 @vikasmg Have you seen this test report? Perhaps you sent a short email to Ed Hamrick and ask him personally about the support. Hermann-Josef

Yes I did see the test report and it was a key factor in my ordering this scanner! I can't find an email address for Ed Hamerick but I have used the web site question form to send in a query.
