FLINCH Posted June 19, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 19, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a Digilux 2 SLR and I believe I have a software problem with it as it was starting to have problems where it would not turn off properly and then would not start again just leaving the Leica logo on the back screen. I had to remove the battery and reinstall it to get it going again. I don’t think it is a battery issue as it will not power up even on charge. Can I download software to solve this. I was not really expecting this sort of problem from a Leica product and I really love this camera and lens for the premium images that it produces. My suggestion would be to carry our a Factory Reset. described in the Leica manual on Page 169. Failing that, I recommend you put your question to Customer Services at Leica headquarters in Germany. (See their current website where you can register your Leica cameras and lenses.) Do keep us informed because you might be experiencing a new rare fault.
