I can always use some practice, especially since lately there have been long periods between photo sessions.

Case in point, the last time I used the M4-P was back in November of 2018.  Not that I haven't wanted to use it since then, but things have just not aligned to make that happen, especially when an entire month is dedicated to certain other brands of cameras I own.  Plus there are other things that have taken my attention for extended amounts of time, and continue to do so.

Anyway, I took the latest opportunity to correct the loading mistake I made on a previous roll, and to pay more attention to the various functions of the camera, and how it acts with certain lenses attached, especially brands other than Leitz.

If you go to the album at https://flic.kr/s/aHsmE9qeR8 you'll find the reasons behind the images that were captured, and what lens was used.  I'll give abbreviated notes here.

Kudos for having the right mentality!  I just finished a trip to Morocco where I had a great deal less success than I was hoping with shots I took on my MP - I also loaded a roll incorrectly and got nothing from it - so I'm in a similar mode in terms of focusing on practice and fundamentals.

I like the close focus check shot - from a slightly different angle, it almost looks like a cowboy riding in a landscape.  Keep practicing and thanks for sharing your steps!

Thanks, guys.  I'm itching to get something done photographically, but between the Seattle like weather, and having to replace my vehicle last week I've been somewhat perplexed and occupied.

We lived in Everett for about 5years from 2001,  Seattle was a favorite of mine for all kinds of photography..Can't show many pics as I used an Olympus E3 & a couple of other early digitals..

Great place for photography even on a rainy day.. L

Well, I did take the new vehicle up on the Blue Ridge Parkway for a short session in the rain.  Put a plastic bag over my Nikon D300s, mounted the hood, then cut out the part of the bag in front of the lens.  It was alright until the rain really started pouring.
