johnbuckley Posted June 1, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 1, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I see on Leica Rumors that Panasonic is releasing an x1.4 and an x2.0 teleconverter for L Mount lenses. I assume these would work for the SL lenses, which could mean the 90-280 now could have become a 180-560 (wow.) Can anyone confirm this correct? Other observation: Panasonic is playing for keeps here. I am seeing more and more images on Instagram shot with the LUMIX S1s. Given market developments, it’s past time to get the SL2 out there. We can speculate about when the announcement will come - and Leica is a very smart company these days, so this surely isn’t lost on them - but past time to make their own news on the SL front, beyond getting long-promised primes into the market.
