Alan Langdon Posted May 28, 2019 Share #1 Â Posted May 28, 2019 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a client who owns a Leica SL and she prefers to use the autofocus feature when filming video. She recently updated to firmware 3.5 and believes this caused a new unwanted behaviour: when shooting, the autofocus box,, after locating the object she chose, erratically moves about and finds another object / point on the screen to focus on. Any similar experiences? Solutions? Is it possible to go back to a previous firmware version? Edited May 28, 2019 by Alan Langdon

arvin Posted May 29, 2019 Share #3  Posted May 29, 2019 My issue may not related to yours. My SL is on firmware version 3.4 still, and I tried video recording for the first time two days ago using the 50SL. I found that nothing was in focus. I don't know if it's just me didn't know how to use it properly, or there's some problem with the camera.  I will have to try again and test.
trickness Posted June 11, 2019 Share #4  Posted June 11, 2019 I just installed 3.5 today as I rented a 75 SL (I normally use M glass with my SL) - same thing here. AWFUL, jerky hunting on AF-C.
