saptarshi Posted May 23, 2019 Share #1  Posted May 23, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello I’m testing the Leica SL with the 75 cron SL lens. When i set the aperture to f22 the evf shows a depth of field as it were set at f4 yet the image is focused   as expected with f22.  I imagine the evf ought to show the same depth of field as I would get in the final picture, is there a setting I missed?  thanks much in advance saptarshi
Advertisement Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Hi saptarshi, Take a look here Incorrect image preview in evf. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Chuck Albertson Posted May 24, 2019 Share #2  Posted May 24, 2019 See p. 214 of the manual. A quick squeeze of the Fn button on the front should show you the depth of field for the aperture you selected. A second quick squeeze of the Fn button will do the same for the shutter speed, useful for previewing night shots where you're dragging the shutter.
saptarshi Posted May 24, 2019 Author Share #3  Posted May 24, 2019 Thanks much. I imagined the live view would have shown that real time.
