Orguy Posted May 12, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 12, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I would like owners to give an update on the QA of the new Q2. I have a Q and am debating the upgrade. I've read a number of complaints scattered throughout the threads of dust inside the viewfinder, finish issues (chipping paint) and others. This gives me pause. Are these extremely rare problems or has the QA really slipped? Should I wait 6 months or so for kinks to be worked out? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I do not use any case or protectors, I don't typically put the camera in a bag either. It's either on my desk, in the car or I'm carrying it. I'm not expecting the paint work to remain so pristine forever, both Q I had before exhibited wear of paint work as time wore on. All good no defects apart from the super continuous speed issue I flagged in the other thread. I had the original Q since launch week and loved it but do not regret the upgrade. Love the Q2. Mail it back to Germany for 4 week turnaround. Not happy. Adorama has stepped in and has promised to mail me a replacement unit once they receive new stock. Other than that, camera is wonderful.
