hello

I am sorry for writing in english !

please can someone help me. I have a lovely pradovit n and I need to change the drive wheel for the focus - but I cannot see how to separate the top of the projector from the bottom in order to access the inside.

I can see the four screws but they are impossible to access.

Any help please ?

thanks

geoff

It's pretty simple if you know. First remove the left side, by pushing it up. Then you can easely remove the rest and you can reach the screws.

thanks very much Jeroen for this most helpful advice. I have spent many days wondering how to proceed !

With respect however, you should have mentioned to remove the spring clip at the bulb side first - otherwise the two locating tabs on the cover (which you told me to lift up) will get bent.

So with the cover removed - I am sorry to say I cannot see how to move on!  I need to remove the bulb cover door and again, I cannot see how to do it?

p.s. this machine is a fantactic piece of engineering. I don't believe we have the skills anymore to make something like this.

Thanks for your help;

geoff

unfortunately I do not have the service manual of this projector anymore. To take out the bulb cover door, we use a little bit of force.

I pull the front cover a little bit aside so that the bulb cover gets lose.
