guidomo Posted July 27, 2007 Share #21 Posted July 27, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is it just me or does this not make sense? If you handed over the money, why were you not handed the lens? (We are just curious if this bargain is gone.)
Advertisement Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Hi guidomo, Take a look here Noctilux F1.0 located. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest Essemmlee Posted July 27, 2007 Share #22 Posted July 27, 2007 The money was transferred by a Paypal transaction after much deliberation, vast quantities of joint discussion, a return if not satisfied agreement and a shed load of indecision making. We got there in the end.
Iron Flatline Posted July 27, 2007 Share #23 Posted July 27, 2007 Good for you! I bought a Noctilux the same way, there was a guy who hadn't used it in 3 years, he bought it and ended up never using it. He had no interest finding out what the current going rate was, but was simply interested in getting some money. I paid US $2,500 (1,230 Sterling, 1,830 Euros) in January, and am absolutely in love with it. He was very happy, too - turned out we were both in LA, so there wasn't even shipping. The lens is flawless, the leather pouch even still had the little "Echt Leder" tag on it. Everyone's entitled to a little luck occasionally. Have a good weekend, and be safe - you just used up your good luck, so look both ways when crossing the street. You don't want to get run over by a forum member on his way up north to outbid you :-)

Guest Essemmlee Posted July 28, 2007 Share #25 Posted July 28, 2007 Arrived this morning. Physically immaculate. Seems to work OK initially. Very fast even at ISO 160. First pictures show slight haziness at F1 - to be expected. Sharp as a button at f4. Thanks to those of you who assisted in my indecision. Glad I did it now. Going to Venice shortly - looking forward to those hand held night shots. Welcome, dear visitor!
