M10-D battery level

Hi,

I just picked up an M10-D. I’m a little confused as to how I can know the battery level through the rangefinder? Is there an indicator? I also looked at the app but I can’t find the battery level in there either. Any pointers?

Yes I read the manual but where it says battery capacity “Bottom” I have no idea what to look for.  I see nothing at the bottom bottom of my rangefinder that would indicate battery level. Only shutter speed.

Hi vamp07,

when you switch on the M10-D, in the view finder you can see the battery status (what is left as capacity percentage) and pushing the small button on the right of the top plate, you can get the capacity of the memory card left pictures to take.

Don't touch the shutter release as then you get the picture conditions according your settings.

Alternatively, you can connect to the FOTOS app and it will show the % as well

That did the trick. I just needed to look when first turning on the camera and before pressing anything. As a new Leica M user it was just not obvious from reading the manual. Thanks...
