uulrich Posted August 8, 2006 Share #1 Posted August 8, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm looking for a small spiral cord (1 - 1.5 ft.) to connect SF20 and MP. Can I use just any 'generic' ones...? Any advice highly appreciated.

Guest smep Posted August 8, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 8, 2006 You can use the Nikon SC-17 for the hot shoe. With a M6TTL or M7 it also works with TLL-metering.

Hi smep; that's what I read also but it doesn't fit. I hv. an entire Nikon gear but none of the cords do. I don't know why. Are there different MPs out there? pxlpal2 Posted August 8, 2006 Share #5 Posted August 8, 2006 Uwe, I have an Mp .72 and I use an Sc-17 a lot...previously with the Leica flash and now with an SB-800 N flash. Regards, Frank M.
uulrich Posted August 8, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted August 8, 2006 Yep; you both are perfectly right. It was my fault. My SC-17 fits well. How stupid. I replace my avatar w/ a close-up of a clown soon...
