Einst_Stein Posted March 9, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 9, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I can't find my Ilford Em10 darkroom exposure meter. Instead of buying a used one from Ebay, I am looking for smart phone apps. I found some photo light meter apps, which can measure the light Lux falling on the front camera, but none of them are darkroom friendly. may be not from engineers familiar with wet darkroom. Imaging the smart phone are placed on the easel on the image projected by the enlarger. The user use it to measure the light of the interesting areas, such as the face or skin, the mid tone, the lowlight and highlight. The apps then can suggest the contrast filter or the grade of the paper, as well as the exposure time. Is there such apps available?

Andrew Wittner Posted March 19, 2019 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2019 The only app I have seen is one on the Apple App Store called enLARGE, which helps you to calculate exposures for different sized enlargements
