I have used Leica and Panasonic cameras, I have always set to JPG + RAW.

JPG, as it comes from the factory in the camera, the photos leave them with little noise with respect to the RAW and with the loss of certain structure and details, but if we configure the JPG to eliminate less noise, the thing changes. We can also configure the JPG from the camera to give us images according to our tastes. (Saturation, noise, contrast, etc.), which saves time in the Edition.

If we configure these parameters well, I doubt that there can be significant differences between JPG and RAW, at least my point of view does not distinguish them.

I don't know how some find those big differences they indicate in exaggerated terms like night and day.

Personally, I like to edit my photos and most of the time I take RAW or DNG, but sometimes I check and it turns out that my edited RAW photo looks worse than what the camera gave me in JPG, so that's when I make the change.

Sorry for my fatal English, but I wanted to intervene in this thread.
