A new copy of the Leica M7 Handbook by Jonathan Eastland. Printed in 2003 by Ajax News & Publishing, Southhampton. I have the author's other book on Leica M. I don't know how much of an overlap there will be. It's new in hardcover, and glancing through seems cover all the available flash units.

I have the M7 Handbook (Ajax) and the M Compendium (Hove) - two different books: the first one is specific  for M7 whereas the second one gives a wider survey on all analog Ms with a certain focus on RF , mine ending with M6. Worth to have both especially if you own a M7.

I bought Eastland's 'Leica M Compendium' not long after it was first published in 1994 and obviously this does not cover the M7.  Nowadays I have an M7 (and MP alc) so his M7 Handbook could be a tempting purchase. On the other hand, the M7's own handbook adequately describes functions and operations whilst E Puts's 'Leica Compendium' gives a good description of the design and componentry.

PS - also have G Osterloh's 'Leica M Advanced Photo School' (updated 2011 edition) which is a comprehensive book on M film cameras, lenses, accessories and the operation thereof.
