edstock Posted January 5, 2019 Share #1 Â Posted January 5, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just noticed that the cover on my 6.2 is peeling. Not bad or anything but it has exposed 6 or 7 screws which it conceals. Can anyone tell me what kind of adhesive I can use to reaffix? Thanks
Advertisement Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 Hi edstock, Take a look here 6.2 front covering peeling. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
gbealnz Posted January 5, 2019 Share #2 Â Posted January 5, 2019 A simple contact adhesive is what I'd use, out here we call it "F2", or Ados. A coating on one or both surfaces. allow it to tack off, then push together. Sometimes it's easier to have the piece completely off, and re-affix. spydrxx Posted January 5, 2019 Share #3 Â Posted January 5, 2019 A standard used by many is called Pliobond.Intense smell for a week or so, but it holds well and the smell dissipates.
