This looks like that place in Bath, to me. If it is, some of these must have been there since I was a student - I used to pass this way on my way home.

(Edit: It can't be - the train's electric)

These blokes used to bring Borises right up to date with Marina mechanicals... :)

Welcome to the forum, Graham.

I like the contradiction invoked by your image of old and modern transport. I also enjoyed browsing your website but wished you had made the place names more readily readable. I grew up in your county but could hardly recognize the main town when I went there last year. You have some lovely pictures and I hope you grace this forum with more examples of your work.

Not sure that could _ever_ have been described as bringing something up to date <grin>

Ahh, but I once had a girlfriend whose mother had a Marina.

Hello? Who's that? Are you my mother-in-law?

Hi David,

My shots usually have the location in the title bar and placing your mouse on a shot will also give location. Placing mouse just below the pic, pressing and holding the left mouse button whilst dragging towards the bottom of the screen will also give camera/lens/filter/film info.

Occasionally, thrill seeker that I am, I head off to Hunstanton in Norfolk but 99% of my stuff is in Northamptonshire.

Thanks for looking.

Hey, that's me on the train looking down and thinking "where is this place with the Minor spares?" :)

Good shots on your site- where is the canal aqueduct with the arches? Never seen that before.

Hi Pete,

That's the Iron Trunk at Cosgrove. The first one made of brick collapsed after three years so they replaced it with a cast iron trough which has lasted 200 years so far.

Thanks for looking.
