Advertisement Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Hi Geebee, Take a look here Morris Minors. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cocker Posted July 19, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 19, 2007 Well caught Graham - I've just enjoyed looking at the pictures on your website - you certainly know your county!! Some lovely images.
stunsworth Posted July 19, 2007 Share #3 Posted July 19, 2007 Nice shot Graham, I'm surprised these appear to have been left to rot. I would have thought they would be kept in better conditions given the collector's market for Moggies.
moikle Posted July 19, 2007 Share #4 Posted July 19, 2007 Hi, Always liked your stuff on LUG. Please share some of your (Leica) Northamptonshire photos. Best regards Mike
andybarton Posted July 19, 2007 Share #5 Posted July 19, 2007 This looks like that place in Bath, to me. If it is, some of these must have been there since I was a student - I used to pass this way on my way home. (Edit: It can't be - the train's electric) These blokes used to bring Borises right up to date with Marina mechanicals...
stunsworth Posted July 19, 2007 Share #6 Posted July 19, 2007 These blokes used to bring Borises right up to date with Marina mechanicals... Not sure that could _ever_ have been described as bringing something up to date <grin>
biglouis Posted July 19, 2007 Share #7 Posted July 19, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Absolutely wonderful capture. If the cars themselves were not photogenic enough then the well thought out and timed event of the train is a touch of genius. LouisB
wda Posted July 19, 2007 Share #8 Posted July 19, 2007 Welcome to the forum, Graham. I like the contradiction invoked by your image of old and modern transport. I also enjoyed browsing your website but wished you had made the place names more readily readable. I grew up in your county but could hardly recognize the main town when I went there last year. You have some lovely pictures and I hope you grace this forum with more examples of your work. David (Old Northamptonian)
elansprint72 Posted July 19, 2007 Share #9 Posted July 19, 2007 Hey, that's me on the train looking down and thinking "where is this place with the Minor spares?" Good shots on your site- where is the canal aqueduct with the arches? Never seen that before.
andybarton Posted July 19, 2007 Share #10 Posted July 19, 2007 Not sure that could _ever_ have been described as bringing something up to date <grin> Ahh, but I once had a girlfriend whose mother had a Marina. (AB drifts off......) ~~~Reverie~~~ Hello? Who's that? Are you my mother-in-law?
Chuckcars Posted July 19, 2007 Share #11 Posted July 19, 2007 B&W shows this best, it tells a story between old and new.

David (Old Northamptonian) Hi David, My shots usually have the location in the title bar and placing your mouse on a shot will also give location. Placing mouse just below the pic, pressing and holding the left mouse button whilst dragging towards the bottom of the screen will also give camera/lens/filter/film info. Occasionally, thrill seeker that I am, I head off to Hunstanton in Norfolk but 99% of my stuff is in Northamptonshire. Thanks for looking. --Graham

The first one made of brick collapsed after three years so they replaced it with a cast iron trough which has lasted 200 years so far. Thanks for looking. --Graham
