Happy New Year M7ers and all other Leica fans ! Going to Rome with my trusty (discontinued!) M7 and can't seem to find anywhere to get film developed and scanned to digital. Have looked on line to no result. Always like to have a few rolls developed as I go along, rather than waiting to get home. Increasingly hard to do it worldwide. Thanks for an advice.

I got a roll processed when there late August, the address is P.I.A.F Fotoforntiture srl, Vicolo dell ' Aquila, 20, Roma. Sort of opposite Museo di Roma, and just off Vittorio Emanuele II, a major street in Rome. I think the guys name was Bernard, he'll remember me, I wanted to establish the Hasselblad I'd bought was up to scratch (to use on the trip), saved me a heap of worry. Great service, I can't speak highly enough of him. Scary though, he has a lot of nice gear there too, be careful of your wallet opening.

This is very funny - I ran out of film during a short trip in Rome in March of this year. While walking around, I said to one of my kids "I would be surprised if somebody sells film over here, let alone Portra". Five minutes later, we happened to pass this shop and he sold plenty of film to choose from, including Portra :) There were definitely some interesting camera's for sale. It was a very nice gentleman and we chatted some about Leica.

A pleasure Indra. See if he remembers me. It was prompt (took a few hours) and economical (B&W develop only, €5). I was very happy.

I was wondering about the price, so thanks for that info. A bargain. All best. Indra
