Removing Digilux 3 power switch

This is a long shot, but does anyone know how to remove the plastic power switch lever from a Digilux 3?  I have two but one was dropped and the plastic power switch broke off. I can still operate the switch, but it's difficult. I have the second Digilux that is electronically U/S and would like to take the switch off that and replace the broken one.  No matter how hard I've tried and goggled, I just can't see a way to remove the switch.  It must come off, otherwise how could one remove the top plate, or must that be done and the switch would come away with the top?

Sounds like no one knows, so I'll try and remove the top plate and see if the whole switch comes away with it, maybe then there is a cir-clip or something that can be removed!

Thanks dkCambridgeshire, I did that and couldn't find anything specfic for D3 but some useful slides on opening up the Lumix version which is a great help.
