My membership in LHSA is up for renewal this month.  Over the past year I've received a some expensively printed magazines and have had access to the website...I don't see the value of this membership...anyone have an opinion?

Without your membership fees some lucky (I’m not saying he’s not hardworking) chap couldn’t get to design his own special editions.

Only you know what it is worth to you. The website is a fantastic resource, with for instance an electronic archive of all back issues of Viewfinder. If I lived where you do I would attend more of their events.

Sorry to see you go.  LHSA is a not for profit community of Leica enthusiasts - owners as well as collectors.  The website contains videos, how-to pieces and more.  Our meetings are great teaching and learning opportunities for members only.  The last meeting was in Wetzlar in October with opportunities to meet Leica executives and fellow owners.  The Spring shoot this year is in Asheville with a trip to the Biltmore and teaching by a pro.  Yes, I am “selling” but there is real value and fun too in being part of the community.   Of course it is your choice.
