pinetar Posted August 8, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 8, 2006 MP .58, 35/2 ASPH, f5.6 @ 250th, 100UC. It really needs the engine to be interesting.
ade909 Posted August 9, 2006 Share #3 Posted August 9, 2006 I like the angles and the perspective in this shot. The 3-wheeler is interesting in itself, especially the bonnet and the boat-tail, which (once you can drag your eyes away from it!) draw you to the 3 plus 8s in a V behind. The slope of the hill and the tree line add to the effect I think - this is a picture that makes me want to step inside and look around! There might actually be room for a slightly tighter crop along the top and the right-hand side.... best Ade
john51 Posted August 10, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 10, 2006 I like the unusual angles here, something different
lambroving Posted August 10, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted August 10, 2006 Ade, Appreciate the comment. You were reading my mind! Can't see your crop though except perhaps a hair at the top because I think the rad needs a bit of room to breathe. John, Thanks! It was really an effort to capture something interesting while excluding the hoards which was REALLY difficult. Hope it conveys the "flavor" of the place. Gary, Here's more of a record shot which shows a bit more of the engine. Never noticed the old Morgan logo on that manifold before, but I'm no three-wheeler man myself. I have a detailed shot of a Matchless engine if this interests you. Not every shot can be a "photograph"...
