splitsecond Posted November 26, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) No matter what exposure mode I set, all of sudden the aperture value appeared not changing at all, stayed at F 8 most of the time, even twist the aperture ring to F1.7, on LCD it shows F 8. I took battery in and out few times, re-formatted the SD card, and updated the firmware to V.3.0, but problem still exist. Can anybody help me to salve the problem? Advertisement Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Hi splitsecond, Take a look here Leica Q does not change its aperture value . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Leica Guy Posted November 26, 2018 Share #2 Posted November 26, 2018 Unsure how to help. Occasionally the shutter speed dial has been known to not be exactly in the detent position. Rare, but it has happened. I’d also rotate it even though I know your problem is aperture and not shutter. In warranty? I’d take / send it to Leica. hcbrelb Posted November 27, 2018 Share #4 Posted November 27, 2018 When I had a similar issue it required a VERY expensive fix at Wetzlar. 😱
