Leica M10 Thumb Support Thoughts

I have always used a thumbs up with my M8, M9, and M240. I thought it would be a definite must when I purchased my M10. I have noticed that since I started taking off the Thumbs up support when using my SF 24 Flash, I actually like the feel of the camera better without the support.

I wonder if because of the thinness of the m10 and the little support bump actually are the reason like a better combination. The Camera feels more like holding my M7 in my hands. 

I think I am going to try it for a while without the support and go from here. Just thought I would share and see if other people found the same thing.

I use the Thumbie on my M10, it's a perfect solution for me........leaves the hot shoe free too.
