Focus issue since firmware 3 - can I “lock” my autofocus point?

Prior to firmware version 3, I would set my focus point to the center (which is how i’ve been shooting all my life) - and if I would accidentally bump it out of that center point, a reboot of the camera would set it back to the center focus point. However since firmware vesion 3 I’m finding it doesn’t reset my focus point to the center if I accidentally knock it from that spot. Is there a way for me to lock my focus point to the center - to where the little 4 way controller on the back won’t change my focus point? Thanks in advance for any help!

I do not recall ever being able to lock the focus point on the Q. Perhaps I missed that feature. A double tap on the rear LCD moves it back to center screen.
