Leica has announced a camera with "Digital Body. Analog Soul." in M10-D. I would rather prefer "Analog Body, Digital Help". Digital help as in scanned digital files, capturing and applying EXIF and GEO data and of course sharing and printing digitally.

This has been my preference lately, rather than trying to go the other way (M10-D way with faux lever and artificially restricting digital advantages). 

What do you think?

I’m with you on this. They had a good concept with the 262 M-D, and then they messed it all up.

BTW, what’s that app you are using?

That is PhotoExif app. Allows you to record the settings, comments and GEO on the scanned file. I wrote about it (and other EXIF apps) sometime ago in this forum.

None of them.

To me digital with film like handling is M8, M9, M-E.

I was able to understand this after I have to expose, develop, scan and print color and bw on film for sometime.

IMO. Sorry.

I still plan on getting an M2.  If I went all digital, the CL would probably fill my needs.  Even better if they came out with a CL-D.
