CL firmware update eventually coming to enable the new fotos app?

I assume they may be a new CL firmware update eventually coming to enable the new fotos app?  Right now the CL, TL, TL2 and Q have not been updated, compared to the M10, M10-P, S & SL which seem first in line to gain access to the new "fotos" app (once that new app goes live).  Or am I mistaken and the CL will not require a firmware update to access this new app?

Certainly! Firmware update 2.1 is about the Fotos app. I works nicely and simple. Easy to connect.

CL Firmware 3.1 is available. I downloaded and installed it today. Supports the new Fotos ap. I submitted my email to be a Fotos beta tester but haven’t heard back yet.

You mean CL firmware v2.1. It was available as of yesterday. I've not installed it yet because I need a macOS or Windows machine to download and transfer it to an SD card. Only have my iPad with me...
