Guest Olof Posted July 14, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted July 14, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) and if so, which size do you prefer for the M-System (if you only would use one ExpoDisk for all lensen) ?
Advertisement Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Hi Guest Olof, Take a look here Do you use ExpoDisk for whitebalance ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
fjmcsu Posted July 15, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted July 15, 2007 Jan, I always use an expodisc & have used several for years prior with my Nikon D2x.I had several sizes & found that the 72mm fits nicely over all my lenses, even the Milich adapter for the CV 12mm(67mm diameter).I simply hold it over the lens in manual mode shoot & move on till the WB changes. I know one can adjust the WB later in photo-editing of the RAW file but knowing the WB ahead is easier for me later in the process!
Cindy Flood Posted July 15, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted July 15, 2007 I use the 77mm expo disc. It is big enough for all my M lenses and my Canon and Leica R lenses, too. I also use the whi-bal card if the light is tricky-- just so I have a reference to look at in lightroom.
Mark Pope Posted July 15, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted July 15, 2007 I have a 58mm expodisk (I think). Works fine, but with hindsight is a little on the small size as I have to remove lens hoods to use it with the 35mm summicron.
