Per P. Posted September 16, 2018 Share #1  Posted September 16, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, When I import photos to Lightroom Classic CC (current version) from my SL a few pictures usually have a black horizontal stripe like the example. The width and position can vary. My cards are Lexar Professional 1000X UHS2 Class 3, which were supposed to be compatible from Firmware 2.0 onwards.  Does anyone else have similar issues? Has anyone seen the issue with Sandisk cards?  Thanks, Per. Welcome, dear visitor! mmradman Posted September 16, 2018 Share #2 Â Posted September 16, 2018 I would hazard the guess it is more Lightroom than camera or memory card issue. Â Do you use only Light Room CC? Â Can you try opening same files in different programs? Â If you have Adobe subscription i would suggest to migrate to Photoshop with default ACR, you can get most adjustments sorted in ACR, probably would cost you the same as current subscriptoion. Â Full disclosure; I Never used Lightroom, the way i see it computer is in control not user.
frame-it Posted September 17, 2018 Share #3 Â Posted September 17, 2018 try a new 32gb / 64gb sandisk card [the card] Â are you loading directly from the card or copying to disk first ? [disk issues] Â try copying the files to the desktop and then opening them in another software to check. [capture one/ DNG converter/Preview/ACR/photoshop] [software issues]

Copying the files from card to hard disk, then adding to the LR catalog (and then renaming) is a three-step process instead of one. But it was still considerably faster and, more importantly, produced error free files. Thank you!
