Nick Bedford Posted September 5, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 5, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've shot about 15 rolls in the last month, which is a lot for me. Does anyone else go through flow states where they're just really productive? There is a tonne of more stuff on my photo journal. All Leica M7, Voigtländer 35mm F1.7 Ultron Asph, Kodak 400TX

abrewer Posted September 6, 2018 Share #2 Posted September 6, 2018 Fine pics all. Yes, there is a certain "groove" that a photographer finds. It can happen in a single day when every shot becomes an epiphany, and it can occur over a season of daily production that astounds you when it's done. Embrace it. Use it. Learn from it. Enjoy it.

Mute-on Posted September 7, 2018 Share #4 Posted September 7, 2018 Really enjoying these Nick. Love that Tri-X contrast. Are you shooting at box speed or pushed? J
Nick Bedford Posted September 7, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted September 7, 2018 (edited) Thanks J! Yeah I really love adding punch to my Tri-X. I fine tune the tone curve of my raw file scans to never clip on either end. I meter at 320 (develop normally in Rodinal 1:50) but I'm not too precious now as long as I'm protecting my shadows. Shooting manual on the streets I'm between 0 and +2 stops metering depending on how quickly I'm moving. A quick reading on a greyish tone and I'm set. Really enjoying these Nick.
