Out of interest (and likely boredom, I am getting over the flu), I took a look at the "street view" by way of Google Maps. Such a huge difference between the street view shot, and your shot here.

Thanks gbealnz, I think London, like me, looks much better when it’s getting dark 🙂

Shot at f/1.7 to get a little softening but not the full wide open pyrotechnics of this lens.
