Thanks G. I've also been using it at f11 a fair bit on my film M but it's nice to have the option of f1.4 in sunny conditions on digital.  It's so bright here that even 100 speed film is a struggle at wider apertures without an ND. What's a bigger struggle is finding somewhere local in Greece to develop the rolls!

True ! Have you checked here re the airports you are travelling through ?  :

https://www.handcheckfilm.com/airports

i was fortunate on the way to Europe and no debates at all about hand checks   Although I’m about to fly out of Malaga so am sending my film home via DHL

First time doing that but as it seems one of the worst on this list I’d rather not risk it

Thankfully I drove here. I’m staying for a few months so it made sense to have our own vehicle to hand. My wife has completely filled up the car but I managed to find a small gap for some film😁

Good to know about Malaga. I’m doing a trip to Granada later this year and we fly in and out of that airport.

Still on the Lamb and Flag thing, but after this I’ll shut up…

To keep things on-topic how about a post which marries the 35 Summilux with the 'Lamb'?!?!

You will, I'm afraid to say, have to trust me on this bit here's a snap taken from the window-seats at the Rose Street end looking back towards the bar and gantry.

Camera was the M-D Typ-262 fitted with a '74 35 Summilux and pic was grabbed with lens wide-open;

EDIT : It took me a while to find this pic as I thought that it was taken sometime around the start of this year. It transpires that it actually dates to late November 2023! ISO was a rather unusual-for-me 3200. As the pic was taken at f1.4 the ambient light levels, it would seem, were rather on the low side...

nice one !  I kept a couple of snapshot rolls from a point & shoot, so I'll request a hand check and let you know

It wouldn't bother me with normal Xray but it seems they have CT installed last year - let's see

Feeling very inspired by a photo @grahamc shot in Cuba and posted some time ago, I managed to nab this walking around the streets of my wife’s home town in Brasil. Not as good as Graham’s I think, but I was still quite happy with it!

I think it was a moment of clairvoyance haha, I managed to get the camera set up and take this one shot in a matter of seconds after seeing it driving up. Wasn’t expecting it to come out the way I intended!

I stopped the car, went into the garden, and took a couple of snapshots of this charming tractor. I hope no one saw me. 😬
