MP | 35 Lux Pre-Asph v2 (German) | Portra 800 Last photo was likely at f/2, rest likely at f/11. Kinda wish I would have took the last photo again at f/1.4. The biggest difference I’ve seen is the rainbow ring of flare you get when a bright light source is slightly off frame at f/1.4, basically disappear completely at f/2. Literally two completely different effects. Always surprises me. costa43 Posted March 9, 2024 Share #2128 Posted March 9, 2024 @evikne f2 is where my aperture will stay fixed tomorrow. It seems a fair bit sharper there whilst still retaining some of the charm. Even with your photo at f8, it still has a vintage feel imo compared to an asph lens. I really love this lens.
