D-Lux 3 at ISO 800 by "pushing" ISO 200 two stops

The idea of "pushing" digital cameras is not new. I remember reading a review of the Digilux 2 where ISO 100 was pushed 2 stops, and turned out better than the 'native' ISO 400. In this case, it was because the noise reduction in the Digilux 2 was excessive at ISO 400. Maybe the review was by Sean Reid. Yea that what they stated with jpegs and sure a difference............... though using raw the difference is minor, but using raw on the GRD the difference is quite pronounced as I stated

just for fun i took the fuji f30 at 3200 -2 (only shoots jpegs). seemed appropriate to the subject.
