The supplied cover is quite a nice elegant design but doesn't hold that well on the lens hood and I'm fully expecting mine to get lost at some point. It's very easy to slide it off when putting the camera in/out of the camera bag and the cap is quite malleable and takes little effort to unhook. Thoughts? BTW: I'm another very happy Milich WATE filter adapter. A fabulous high quality product. Now if I could only find a Leica 49mm filter to replace the B+W that I'm using .... I must admit that for the lenses with protruding shades I just use Hood Hats. However for the longer lenses such as the 75 & WATE there's nothing for these to grab on to.
