Hello,

I've been lurking here for some time, just recently a member and first posting today.

During my youth, my father used a Leica IIIg, and he let me use it from time to time. (Now gone, sadly—both father and camera!)

Since then I've used Canon, Pentax 645 and 67, Contax G, Zeiss ZM equipment, and some others. But a few weeks ago I acquired a Leica M Typ 262, and I'm enjoying it very much. So far, I've been using Zeiss ZM 50 f/2 Planar, 35 f/2 Biogon, and 85 f/4 Tele-Tessar lenses, as well as CV 50 f/1.5 Nokton and 75 f/1.7 Heliar lenses. Over the years I've been a 50mm field of view kind of guy, but I really want to get to appreciate more the 35mm, and I think the 262 will help me in that endeavor.

So many helpful postings here—I'm very grateful for them—and of course inspiring images.

All the best!

Robert
