Expectation on the new DMR firmware

Hi all,

 

What addtional features do you expect to be appeared on the new DMR firmware, say V1.3?

 

My choices would be:

 

1. Records of RAW + JPG format;

2. Over exposure alert when reviewing the pictures thru the LCD (e.g. blinking in Red for the over exposure areas);

3. Records of the lens focal length in the EXIF information if using ROM lenses;

4. Faster reviewing speed when enlarging a portion in the picture;

5. Shorter time from off to standy-by condition;

6. More precise White Balance reproduction

 

May be some of the above ideas not just a software upgrade but also relate to hardware ability. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

 

And please advise what other features you are expecting on the new DMR firmware.

Sure if it is not slower than now

Already available in "info" mode

Already available for primes

Yes, that would be nice but I wonder if this is not a problem of SD card reading speed.

 

5. Shorter time from off to standy-by condition;

Sure, that would be nice if not harware (I don't know)

mine show this info (i have only primes)

7. if the hardware can handle it i'd like 5 fps.

 

8. the battery is okay - but would like it longer lasting (thats probably a battery upgrade not firmware)

whats the latest timeframe on this --- it's been to long
