echogallery Posted August 7, 2006 Share #1 Posted August 7, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) This one's hard to catch since it has a very brief blooming season. Generally between late April, early May when grown in greenhouses on the US east coast. Pulled this image from the archives. Advertisement Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Hi echogallery, Take a look here Salpiglosis . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
leicamann Posted August 7, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 7, 2006 This is a lovely example of what Kodachrome is capable of..well scanned. I would only add that maybe you are on a Mac, but the black point and contrast make the image look a bit "milky"..easily fixed in Photoshop. No mention of what lens used..ok I see it..the Summicron...I have both....both 90's are superb. Thanks for sharing Regards, Leicamann
