yst Posted July 6, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Could I ask those who have the experience about the use of WiFi transfer from a D-Lux (109) to a cellphone... : What is the file size after a photo being transferred from a D-Lux via its own WIFI function directly onto a iPhone with "Image Shuttle" app? Does the D-Lux automatically reduces the photo file transfer to the phone, or as an original size?

graeme_hutton Posted July 7, 2018 Share #2 Posted July 7, 2018 I’ve done it and always assumed no compression occurs. I’m sure this is the case. G

I do not see these settings either. What exactly is V 2.2.0? My firmware is V 1.0, I don't believe it has ever been updated from that.

yst Posted July 9, 2018 Author Share #8 Posted July 9, 2018 (edited) The settings I posted about are for Leica Image Shuttle, the way to WiFi connect your 109 to iPhone or iPad not sure what cellphone is supposed to be. Thank you for point out that. But it is still not able to change the size of a photo that is transferring from the DL 109 to an iPhone. Although on the phone "Image Shuttle" I have set to "small" (see photo attached), at the same time on the DL 109, it is only showing the same "M" as mentioned above (see photo also attached" here) , and is not changeable on the D-Lux, why? One things is that - often a photo I want to transfer from the DL to an iPhone is only wanting to be small (for posting showing on an phone, so very small is enough, as well not occupy too much space.) from experiment, when the "Image Shuttle" was left in "Large (original)", or now set to "Small", on the DL, it is still showing the same "M", and the photos send to the phone is the same size around 2.6 ~ 2.9 MB (no difference) for a normal jpg photo taken on the DL ... Anyone knows how to control that photo file size transfer?? Welcome, dear visitor!
