sillbeers15 Posted June 16, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 16, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) While I wait for SF60 + SFC1 preorders to arrive for my SL fill flash needs, I think I found a perfect 'fill flash' companion for my M10. The Q20 is a compact manual flash which has a wireless trigger.

Keith_W Posted June 16, 2018 Share #3 Posted June 16, 2018 - Flash head tilts but does not swivel. - Don't see any controls for manual settings - No mention of TTL flash mode - No mention of how many flashes can be controlled by the trigger - Don't know how much power the flash outputs
sillbeers15 Posted June 17, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted June 17, 2018 - Flash head tilts but does not swivel. - Don't see any controls for manual settings - No mention of TTL flash mode - No mention of how many flashes can be controlled by the trigger - Don't know how much power the flash outputs The compact flash can be totally detached. So you can point it wherever you want with your hand. The tilt is redundant. Manual flash only need two buttons, the up & down, from minimum power to full power. As mentioned clearly, it is a manual flash, so there is no TTL & HSS. You want that, get the SF40, SF60 & SF64. No third party flash is available today. This flash is good for compact carrying and aids filling light to shadows for shutter speeds not higher than 1/250 sec. Power output is only GN20, again not a all power flash for you to overpower the noon sun outdoors.
sillbeers15 Posted June 17, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted June 17, 2018 Nice idea, but what an ugly thing. you can spray paint it pink or green if that helps? It is so compact. tuck it in your pocket and only bring out when required.
