yst Posted May 28, 2018 Share #1 Â Posted May 28, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Greetings, I wonder if anyone tried a Pol filter on a D-Lux 109? Â Â Or can you use a Pol filter on the DL 109 lens, would it be recommended? Â Â Any Pol filter could fit the DL? Â And the build in filter effects could not do the work as a real Pol filter can, correct? Â Edited May 28, 2018 by yst
Advertisement Posted May 28, 2018 Posted May 28, 2018 Hi yst, Take a look here Anyone use a Polarizer filter on a D-Lux (typ 109)?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
mikemgb Posted May 28, 2018 Share #2 Â Posted May 28, 2018 I use a polarizer on my 109 regularly, it behaves exactly as you would expect it to, cuts reflections, haze and darkens skies, I find it invaluable. Â I've never really used the built in filters so I can't comment on that.

I use a Marumi 43mm polarizer. It works just fine with the original lens cap but it will not work with an automatic cap.  I bought it from Amazon.
